Why does my house feel humid even though the AC is cold?
The most common cause is a system that is too large for the house. It cools quickly and shuts off before removing moisture. Running the fan on 'on' instead of 'auto' can also put moisture back into the air. We can check both.
My builder system just came out of warranty. Should I get it maintained?
Yes. Builder-grade systems tend to show their first failures between years 8 and 12. A maintenance visit cleans the coil and drain and tests the capacitor and motors, which are the parts that usually go first.
